HI Glyn, Your 'services' file must be pointing to the live instance through the sqlhosts file. If the 'services' file has the name 'test-instance' for the port name and then in the sqlhost file the 'test-instance' is on the line where the 'db_name@v5_LIVE_instance_name' is then you would go to the 'live' instance of course.
