Scroll Cursor Problems

My program is an ESQL C program written for HP-UX and I have a scroll cursor that is causing me problems. If I do a fetch current I get an error -259 in the sqlca.sqlcode which is supposed to mean cursor not open. But if I do a fetch next it works for part of the table. At some point near the end of the table I get another -259 error. What gives? This error only occurs when I am selecting the whole table whether by omitting the where clause that is true for all rows in the table. I can do queries on every imaginable set other than the entire thing and the query routines work fine. If I delete the rows causing the -259 error the queries work but the problem reappears with every new row that is added. I looked for string overwrites b/c I thought I was hammering the sqlca struct but I haven't found any evidence of that. Any ideas? Thanks for Reading This Message. Rob Schulz
