The LTAPEDEV always names the same file. After an archive of logs completes, rename the file and create a new empty file for the next archive with the same name. I habitually rename the log archive file as "logfile.<last log number>" indicating which log is last in that archive file. It is known to contain the logs from the last file until the named log number. Art S.
