RE: Informix in "comatose" mode?

This time no active processing was being done at the time.
A cron job scheduled for midnight ran successfully, whereas
another scheduled for 4:00 a.m. could not even connect. So
the server lost its way some time in between. And except for
some middleware connections (which were not doing any active
processing) there were no users on the server.
