Re: ACE report

There's an environment variable which can set isolation level for Ace. I can't remember the name nor can I find it quickly but if you run strings $INFORMIXDIR/bin/isql|grep ISOL you should turn it out. If you can find the right manual it might be documented but that depends on the version you have - it existed before it was documented. Or maybe johnl will tell us all. You can then set it to "DIRTY READ" (you'll need the quotes because of the embedded space).
