you could try copying a .dat .idx pair to the name of the table you're
trying to get rid of then dropping it.
EG
You're trying to get of "mytab". From systables you know the file is
called "mytab123".
type:
cp systables.dat mytab123.dat
cp systables.idx mytab123.idx
Then in ISQL run:
drop table mytab
