Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

This is an ESQL/C function, not 4GL.

} I have been told there is a INFORMIX-4GL built-in function call
} RDATESTR for formating an integer date field into a date string
} of "YYYYMMDD". Yet I can find nothing in my manuals about such
} a function. If I try to use it anywhere with the following
} syntax:
}
} call rdatestr(f_int) returning f_str
}
} the program will compile but fail at run time with an error
} indicating I'm not returning the correct number of variables.
} Any information about rdatestr would be helpful.
