Informix 4GL

How do I find out if I have Infx 4GL complier installed on my server? I check under $INFORMIXDIR/bin and there are currently nothing for i4gl, form4gl, c4gl.... If I don't currently have Infx 4GL complier installed on the server can I installed it without bringing down informix servers? and what is the recomemended Infx 4GL complier version for IDS 9.4(32 BIT)?
