On-line w/ solaris..we need help...

hello fellow netters... I have a question regarding informix on-line 6.0 we are having problems bring infomr up and down. wh have startand kill scripts that work fine when runjust fine on their own. these files are called /etc/rc1.d/K96informix to kill the informix deamon /etc/rc2.d/S96infomrix to start the informix deamon these two files are just startonline and shutdownonline renamed to fit the unix standard for startup and kill scripts. when we try to bring the system down to init 0 or init 1 we do not get any msg that infomrix is soming down. we put an echo in the killscript but we never see t he msg on the screen during the shutdow we do how ever see the msg that the disk partitions using informix are "busy" when we try to bring the system backup to to init3 we get a shared memory error when trying to start informix.. if anyother informix users have had a such a probem..
