The networking components of unixware 7.1 have apparently been rewritten differently from unizware 7.01 and have caused some problems with some stress tests where unixware 7.1 panics. We have been told by Informix that the next release/update from Unixware 7.1 should fix the problem.

I am not sure if it is with UC2-1 or a newer patch release. Check their website, click on Partners->Roadmap->SCO Thanh > > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
I have my production IDS engine running on UW7.0.1 and my development IDS 7.30UC2-1 running on my laptop with UW7.1 (64MB memory). I have not patched the UW7.1 system, but I also do not have any networking set up (yet). Anyone know when Informix will be releasing 7.30UCx (higher than 2-1)? > tam.mclaughlin@net.ntl.com wrote: <snip> > > > I try to install it, but I get an error in shared memory creation: > the > > > system ask me to check SHMSEG, but it is on its maximum... I just ordered ISD 7.30.UC10-1 for Unixware 7.1 I wish they would get 7.31 ported or for that matter 9.20. Does anyone know if this is in the works? Thanks Peter
