Informix only sees 73MB on a drive with 4.03GB free when trying to create a new dbspace??

What can I do to get it to update this. This is the same drive that informix is installed on, could that be a problem. All the directory names and filenames are < 8 chars or the defaults. NTFS partition on Windows NT Enterprise Edition SP4. jarrodr (at) province (dot) com

It seem you have only 73 MB DiskSpace in one physikal chunk. Try to derfrag the diskspace on the disk drive. MW

But I tried creating smaller dbspaces and I still can only total up to 73MB another disk that is only 2GB is showing 883MB free. Which is correct, and it has the OS, so i KNOW it is fragmented badly. Does this imply that dbspaces MUST be contiguous when they are created? Hello, there is a bug in Informix Space Explorer that will be resolved with IDS V7.31. For partitions with more than 4GB of free space, only some MB wil be shown as free.
