Have you read all the documentation supplied with DBD::Informix?
You should consider using the dbi-users@fugue.com mailing list for
such questions -- read the docs for more info on this.
The multiconn tests will fail unless (1) either INFORMIXSERVER or
DBD_INFORMIX_SERVER is set to a non-ipcshm server name, or (2) you
set DBD_INFORMIX_DATABASE or DBD_INFORMIX_DATABASE2 to an explicit
dbase@server value where the server name is not an ipcshm server.
