Two options: 1. Add more chunks to the original rootdbs dbspace. You will *never* be able to free the primary chunk. It has critical information in it. 2. Create a raw device the same size as the rootdbs, with the correct permissions. With the OnLine server down, dd the contents of the current (cooked) rootdbs chunk to the new raw chunk. Change the rootdbs path in the ONCONFIG file and restart the server. You can make the raw device bigger than the current rootdbs size but the extra space will be wasted. Changing the ROOTSIZE field in ONCONFIG will *not* make ONLINE use the extra space.
