Fatal error with IDS 9.4
Hi everyone. Our production Informix 9.4 database crashed and all we have to go on is this from the message log which does not offer much in terms of specific errors. It just says some process failed with indicating why. Aside from calling IBM Informix support would there be any other logs or components that might offer a clue as to what happened? Will One of the Informix processes has been terminated. This could have been by a kill of Informix or the process associated with session 738585 or the OS terminated the Informix process. It could also be a bug in Informix. You are on an old patched version of Informix. (As I understand, patched versions should be upgraded when the next release becomes available). In you af file what was session 738585 doing? Either upgrade or log a call with IBM.
