Question of Dummy

Sorry by the following question, but I need to know if there is a table in a SP, and I not remember how it was done. The informix I use is a TD6 7.31.
I don't think I understand the question. Are you asking if there is a
table or stored procedure named "Dummy"? The direct answer is no. That
said, what are you trying to accomplish? If you need something like the
Oracle "dual" table that returns a single row and which is used sometimes
to return a constant, there is such a table in later versions of Informix
starting with v10.00 IB in the sysmaster:sysdual pseudo table, however, in
7.31 nothing exists. The usual way to accomplish this in Informix before
the sysmaster.sysdual table was to do something like this:
select 3 from systables where tabid = 1;
Another way would be to create a real table in each database with a single
column and a single row in it. Name that table dual, then you can:
select 3 from dual;
