Was there something lost in translation?

I don't know the date of the Czech Computerworld interview of Jerry Keesee, however, here's a link to it on Eric's site http://www.informix-zone.com/node/678 I think Eric's pretty clear on his frustration from this confusing interview. I mean we just sat through a presentation by Jerry, have Ambush's letter and yet, there's confusion about IBM's 'go to market' strategy. If we believe Jerry, as IDS gains more DW functionality, then the line and message blurs. Unfortunately, all we are getting is static and a lot of promises. One thing that the king of wankers confirmed is that even though Janet Perna left the building at the end of 2005, Nothing has changed in terms of correcting the lack of marketing and sales support for Informix. Oh wait. Its now a 'brand'. Ok so will Jerry and gang actually take the time to explain how this helps? Or perhaps next quarter they'll actually have a real win, instead of announcing a reprieve and a 'saved our bacon ' screw up accounts. I'm sorry but I'm a native english speaker and either something was lost in translation from Jerry's interview, or things just aren't adding up. Perhaps we're supposed to read between the lines to understand IBM's message to the Informix community. By reading between the lines, stand in front of a mirror, holding the middle three fingers up, the others down and the palm is towards you. Now look in the mirror and drop the outer two finders and that's the message from IBM. For those in the UK, its the same message as V for victory, only again, the backside of the hand is showing. (Blast those Norman archers! ;-) So what am I missing? Can anyone really explain to me what Jerry Keesee and Ambush are thinking?
