Informix Segmentation Fault.

Hi, i'm trying to bring up Informix 7.30.UC5 on cooked space, in solaris. I get a segmentation fault whenver I attempt to bring up the server. I believe my config files and install are all correct. Any Ideas ? adam_walker@choicehotels.com

Are their ownerships and permissions correct (should be: -rw-rw---- informix informix)? Is there enough disk space on the filesystem for the final chunk size? Have you updated the Solaris kernel as directed in the release notes and rebooted with the new kernel? What do the ONCONFIG and sqlhosts files look like? Are the services used in the sqlhosts file entered in /etc/services? Is the host name in sqlhosts the EXACT output of "uname -n"? This is what to look at and what we need to know to help. Art S. It might be worth posting that as well. Also you could do an oninit -v (for verbose) which may also give some idea where the segv is occuring.
