Get a real ODBC driver (check http://www.openlinksw.com) 2. Read the manual on installation of Informix I-Net and check all the strange things that have to be right. The above problem is often related to the hosts and services files not beeing correctly set up. These must correspond on both your Windows PC and on the Unix server (assuming you use a Unix server).
