I've posted a program, nozombie, which can usually deal with this. Try news://www.informix.com/informix.idn.linux According to my outgoing records, I've also posted it to the c.d.i news group, so you should be able to find the fix via DejaNews. It isn't rocket science -- and it is only a workaround. If you find it works, please let me know so that I can build up a list of platforms where it is known to work. And if it doesn't work for you, it is even more important to let me know the platform.
