Distributing 4gl's To Application Server

Hello All, Pardon the rather general question. I currently run all 4gl's and scripts on the same server as the database engine. I am planning to move the 4gl's and scripts over to a seperate server. I am using Online 5.0 and am upgrading to IDS 7.3. In making a transition like this, what things should I be thinking about. Am I going to have to start using stored procedures a lot more? Or should everything work similair to the DB engine being on the same machine? Any thoughts would be appreciated. Olaf (WSE)
