Assignment of ARG_VAL in Informix 6.0 -Reply
Posted in 1996
Steve I have tested this on Solaris 2.4 and it exhibits the same behaviour. The l_date is null. Status on assignment is zero. I added an l_char which reads the word 'update' correctly. Is this behaviour a bug? Beats me. rgds -- -- Peter Tashkoff NZ Kiwifruit Project Consultant/DBA Marketing Board. This "feature" caused a program to run in report only mode rather than update mode many times. Is this a bug/feature and is it limited to V6 4GL (AIX ) Any comments would be appreciated.
