DBCENTURY configuration

Please does anyone out there know how long i.e. hours/days it takes to configure the DBCENTURY variable on a single UNIX AIX v4.3 server? We will be upgrading soon to Informix v7.3 but I need to know the timescales and procedure for configuring DBCENTURY. Any reply would be gratefully accepted. Thank you. Rgds Steve
