Bug in Informix 7.31.UC4??

Has anyone heard of a bug in Informix 7.31.UC4 on HP/UX 11 where it states that it cannot handle sub-queries?? We've had a rash of crashes today and our vendor states that it's because of this certain bug. I am not convinved as we've been running on this system for over 2 years without any issues. Can anyone shed light on this and if this is a bug, is there a patch to fix it? Thank you!
