Hi Pavel Informix are (were?) working on Data Director for Java - a type 4 JDBC driver. You might also be interested in the dbANYWHERE middleware which ships with Visual Cafe for Java - Database Development Edition. It has native type 3 drivers for Informix and other SQL databases.
