Hi ODBC - specialist, we have to ask the IDS 7.31UC2 with MS-Access and MS-Excel. We normally use SCO Vision SQL-Retriever 4.17. I wished to migrate to Informix ODBC 3.30. I have two problems: 1. Informix ODBC 3.30 doesn´t support 16-Bit apps :-(. 2. Is it possible that this ODBC-driver has the bug that it cannot work with table names including underscores, for example: a_table_name. If I want to bind such tables to a query I get the error: [Informix][Informix ODBC Driver][Informix]An illegal character has been found in the statement.(#-202) With SQL-Retriever the error does not appear. BTW: Synonyms don´t help. Any experience or ideas? Reinhard

You might want to call Informix Tech support to find out if they still have copies of older ODBC drivers for 16 bit support. -- # unrm / ksh: unrm: not found # man cpio Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
