[Don't you just hate typos .... trying again ...]
IDS 11.50.UC5 Linux
We are converting byte fields to blob fields as we move data to smart blobs,
as seen below:
ALTER TABLE images
MODIFY b_image_byte BLOB,
PUT b_image_byte IN (images01sbs, images02sbs)
(EXTENT SIZE 4, NO LOG, KEEP ACCESS TIME);
ALTER TABLE images
MODIFY b_image_byte BLOB,
PUT b_image_byte IN (images01sbs, images02sbs)
(EXTENT SIZE 4, LOG, KEEP ACCESS TIME);
Instead of the last ALTER TABLE statement, in order to make the current
contents as well as future contents "LOG", should I perform the following
command:
onspaces -ch images01sbs LOGGING=ON
onspaces -ch images02sbs LOGGING=ON
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Clifton
