Using HP terminals and tbmonitor
Posted in 1995
In article <ian.goddard.72.00000568@geo2.poptel.org.uk>, I have tried setting the TERM environment to hp as suggested, but when tbmonitor runs, it does not display the screen properly. Instead of displaying the ring menu across the top, it displays it on the bottom. Subsequent lines start to wrap from that point. While setting the emulation to em100 does work, we need to restore the console in hp mode when we are done. We often forget to set it back to hp mode, and them sam and other HP features do not work properly. Any suggestions on how we can get tbmonitor to work in hp mode?? >>From: johnyc@mainelink.net >>Subject: Re: How to get informix to run?? >>Date: Fri, 17 Nov 95 23:11:49 GMT > >>The easiest way is to run tbmonitor as the informix user.
