Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

After using older versions of Informix without any problems (SE 4.x, 4GL
4.x etc), we tried to install our update to SE 7.1. While executing the
stuff works fine, I just can't get the sqlexecd to work. All I get is:
daemon err = 25507: The specified service name or protocol is unknown.
sqlhosts has the following line:
sqlexec sesoctcp ct sqlexec
"sqlexec" is available in /etc/services.
Any hints ???
Tnx, -gg
