If steve is using the command line interface to dbaccess or reading an
SQL file from the command line it will seem to not process until the
EOF mark. This is an artifact of dbaccess, it does not ordinarily
echo its inputs and if the '-e' flag is included it unfortunately echos
each command after processing the next SQL statement so if the script
or 'here script' only has 2 statements it will still seem to process
after reading EOF. Try putting the semi-colon on a line by itself
following the SQL it completes. This sometimes works to echo the
command before executing it.
