I've receive those errors, while the database is online but users can't
connect to it using the ODBC.
It seems like corrupted index on a system catalog table sysprocplan, can
I rebuild the catalog database or one of its components? HOW?
-103 ISAM error: illegal key descriptor (too many parts or too long).
The ISAM processor has been given an invalid key descriptor. For C-ISAM
programs, review the key descriptor. Each key descriptor has a maximum
of 8 parts and 120 characters. If the error recurs, refer to the
information on trapping errors in your Administrator's Guide or
Reference to
Appendix entitled "Trapping Errors" in your Administrator's Guide or
Reference
to acquire additional diagnostics. Contact Technical Support at
tsmail@us.ibm.com with the diagnostic information.
Similarly, by "252" you probably refer to this error:
-252 Cannot get system information for table.
The database server cannot access system information associated with the
table. Check the accompanying ISAM error code for more information.
Unless the ISAM error code or an operating-system message points to
another cause, run the oncheck utility to verify file integrity.
Recovery from a corrupted index on a system catalog table is not
trivial. If your organization has a support contract with IBM, I
recommend that you contact the IBM Informix support organization for
your geographic region.
Note also the email address that appears in the explanation of the first
error message above. The Technical Support staff at that email alias
will need to know the release version of your Informix database server,
and other information.
I regret that I do not know more about corrupted indexes than what I
have indicated above.

The only way would be to export the DB using dbexport -ss, drop the
DB, and recreate/reload it using dbimport.
