Dear Warren, It's been my experience that you will get a return code of 0 with an update statement, even if no rows are updated. This is caused by the fact that the statement did actually execute successfully, it just didn't find any rows to act upon. You have to check the third element of the sqlerrd array to find out how many rows were actually updated. I hope this helps.
