And we do have the ability to download files through SSH. The issues here are the following. 1) Is the $INFORMIXDIR value found in the registry (or even in autoexec.bat) reliably? 2) Are these notes automatically and always updated for an upgrade (so that the file would be overwritten when 7.31.UC8 is loaded) 3) How can you find out what the directory below 0333 is? If all that is known from the $INFORMIXDIR is that it is informix 7, how do you know if the information is in IDS_7.2 or IDS_7.3 If these can be handled, I think we have a working solution.
