SE Distributed Processing Questions

We have two machines (HP-UX servers) on our network. Machine "A" is the main machine which currently handles all of the database processing (SE, not Online). Machine "B" also has Informix SE installed on it (this machine is not being used in production, used for testing mainly). Is it possible to distribute some of the processing between the two? For example, can some users logon to Machine B and use the database on machine A? Will this cause table corruption since Kernel locking is used? -- Mr. Rajendra Singh, B. Sc.
