Adjacent key locking on IBM

All I noticed a lot of messages talking about adjacent key locking on AIX running V7 informix. I am aware that V7 is not supposed to use it, but I have to say that I am seeing errors on our system that look suspiciously like an adjacent key locking problem (they are rare events). So here is the setup: IBM SP2 AIX 4.1 Informix V7.14 UD3 Is there anyone out there that has conclusive proof that this beast does exist in an IBM environment (either through testing or because informix have confirmed it still exists on this platform). Does anyone have a lock monitoring tool suitable for capturing information on this event. I am looking for something that can be run from cron, or runs as a daemon process and can capture onstat output (or SMI) related to this event.
