Hello,
Is it possible to view the BTree Scanner info seen with 'onstat -C' via the
sysmaster database?
The reason I ask is because we seem to have the following issue and I was
planning on monitoring it with scripted SQL etc, but cant figure out the
sysmaster tables.
'onstat -C' shows BTree scanner activity. These figures should increment on
the Primary database, and these figures should remain at '0' on the secondary
database.
If the Primary goes down, and the Secondary has its mode changed to Primary
(without any engine bounces etc), all seems to work fine. However 'onstat -C'
continues to report no activity on the BTree Scanner threads until the engine
is bounced and comes online as Primary.
I.e. Changing from secondary to Primary does not seem to 'wake up' the BTree
threads.
I have not confirmed this though and was going to try to prove it first but I
don't know how to see the 'onstat -C' data via the sysmaster database?
Thank you in advance.
Regards, Andy.
