What is HASHTEMP database ?!

Hello, I use the following sql command to check the extent number of every table in databases. I got a database, named 'HASHTEMP'. It really confuses me. Does anybody know how/why does it happen ? How to deal with it ? I use Informix Online 7.12. Thanks.... The sql command I used is : dbaccess sysmaster <<! select dbsname database, tabname, count(*) num_extents from sysextents group by dbsname, tabname having count(*) > 8 order by 3 desc, 1, tabname ! And the results I got : database tabname num_extents database1 table1 2 . . . . . . HASHTEMP th_overflow_ffffff 30 . . . . . .
