Hi Masters:
I turn on the INFORMIX onaudit with this mask:
onaudit -a -u _default -e +UPRW,INRW,DLRW,ACTB
The Data Base performace go down 30 % +/- , but the UNIX Server, NO
I did changed the mask for a few users, but the performance go down like
_default mask, so don´t care if audit all o few users.
only 1 vp adt was added
Can I add more vpS type adt for make the onaudit tasks more master
Any idea ??
Thanks in advance

Every row updated, inserted, deleted, and every time a table is accessed.
That will hit performance hard - if you want to make it worse, add
RDRW (every row read).

I'm not sure about the significance of NO; 30% sounds about right,
though it depends on your mix of operations. Auditing is expensive -
row level auditing is very expensive.

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying here. The _default mask
applies to everyone. Unless you removed it, changing parameters for
some users was counter-acted by the _default mask.

I don't know whether you can add more adt VPs; I'd expect not. Did
you try changing the configuration? What happened? ('onmode -p +1
adt' or some such command line).
