RE: dbexport/import

Carol, When you execute the dbimport utility, use the -d switch to specify the database space. For example: dbimport wfoden -d wfodendbs ... I found this in the "Informix Guide to SQL Reference Version 7.1" on page 5-20. Then, since your database is in the wfodendbs space, each table created by the import should be created there by default. This should work as long as your export script didn't explicitly name a database space for each table (because of the dbexport -ss switch). --Craig (craig@chemistry.utah.edu)
