EDA/SQL to Oracle?

I am working with an Oracle database (7.3) running on NT4.0. I need information from another product using an Informix database on HP-UX. Informix should be controlling the communications. On Informix's web site I was reading up on the Enterprise Gateway for EDA/SQL product. It appears to fit the bill except that it is ONLY supported for Oracle on MVS, VM, VAX/VMS and UNIX. Are these limitations based on what platforms EDA/SQL will run on? Could I circumvent this by loading SQL*Net (Oracles communications tool) on the HP-UX box, thus making Oracle appear local on the HP-UX? -- John Dixon john.dixon@bsis.com
