First the AFCL might have been updated its class 'uprofile'. In the 2.x release of NewEra this class could be used to access the an 'ini' file. It might now be able to access the win95 registry. Take a look. What we did is, write some c-code and call these c-functions from within the NewEra 4GL-functions. I don't know of anything else being available.
