Auditing

My observation is that the audit mask RDRW (readrow) outputs an audit record for every row that a query examines, whether or not it meets the query criteria. ?True. false? If true, is there another mask I missed which will audit only the rows selected by a query? thanks ps i'm new at this news stuff. how do i look at more than the last 100 messages which is what i get for any newsgroup I connect to (i'm using netscape)
