Have you tried using the USER keyword? I am not sure if it is available in
SPL, if not you can use
SELECT user
FROM dummy_table
This will give you the username.

Subject: Help!! "who" in a stored procedure.
Date: 19 June 1995 20:25
I have a trigger which calls a stored procedure, inserting a row into
a table. ( online 7.1, Tools 6.0, Unix V )
Can I get the stored procedure to find out who the current user is in Unix,
in order to write this to one of the columns in the row I'm inserting?
