To disable the license server, the following steps are required: 1) Ensure that the lmgrd process is not running 2) Ensure that the following files exist and contain the word "NONE": $INFORMIXDIR/etc/.notcp - chmod 444, owner root, group (root's group) $INFORMIXDIR/lib/.notcplib - chmod 444, owner root, group (root's group) Hope this helps, Richard Ridley DHL Asia Pacific Singapore
