Linux environ config-INFORMIXSERVER
Trying to evaluate SE-ISQL-4GL on Linux 2.2.12. I have tried many variations of sqlhosts parameters. THere are no release notes on this. (at least of any value) The error I get is 15596 INFORMIXSERVER value not found in sqlhosts. What is the proper config for. . INFORMIXSERVER and sqlhosts in order to run SE and ISQL. -- mkuhn@rhlab.com
Below is an excerpt from a valid sqlhosts file for IDS. The first column in
every line corresponds to the informix server (engine) name. Notice the
second line is an example for a valid SE entry. You still need to have the
service name (sqlexec in the example below) defined in the services files of
the client and the server. Hope this helps.
