Dividing up the news

I don't want to waste space here so I'll be as brief as possible. There was some discussion a while back about delineating this newsgroup into several subgroups. Has there been a final say on this? The volume is relatively low compared to other groups, but even many of the other "low-volume" groups have subdivisions in them. How hard is this to achieve and is it something folks would want? Tim
