Informix v6.0, SCO & Raw Partition

Has anyone tried using SCO Unix Open Desktop v3.0 and Informix Online v6.0, and installing Informix to access a raw device database? Is there any more specific information as to how to go about doing this, like defining a raw device and allocating it to Informix, etc.?
