Unfortunatly, drop database sysmaster yields:
214: Cannot remove file for table (sysdbspartn).
158: ISAM error: Operation disallowed on SMI pseudo table
I've heard from informix that /opt/informix/etc/buildsmi should rebuild sysmaster.
In fact the start of buildsmi is:
dbaccess sysmaster - << EOF >/dev/null 2>&1
delete from systables where tabid > 99 and partnum < '0x100000';
delete from systables where tabname = 'sysdbspartn';close database;
drop database sysmaster;EOF
works.
In fact, if I do this and bounce the engine, it appears to work!
or just run /opt/informix/etc/buildsmi without bouncing anything.
I've never used arc_* or sysaudit for anything ...
