Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi All!
I want to run ontape from a cron job but it requires that you press
"Return" after mounting your media. Can someone please tell me how to
pass ontape a single "Return" and if it still wants the media mounted to
get it to exit.
I've tried a here file, i.e.
ontape -s -L 0 << !dummy
!
but that just causes ontape to continually tell me to mount my media if
it isn't mounted.
No doubt this has been done loads of times before, so forgive the
reposting, I just can't find the solution.
Cheers,
Danny
