Just to clarify one thing that I said that is incorrect. Based on our program's terminology - it is was loading 3.5 rows per second initially; but each "row" was actually inserting 14-35 rows into the informix database tables. So the performance was really 49 to 105 rows per second. Now we are averaging 15 "rows" per second with would actually be inserting between 210 and 525 rows per second into the database tables.
