Hi John, The settings are stored in the registry. I'm setting up a Userprofile with the correct setnet32 settings and then copy it into the default user-profile (see Properties of "My Computer"-Icon -> User-Profile) When a new user is looging on the machine the default profile becomes the current user-profile and the setnet32-setting are also included. Using this method requires that there are no existing user-profiles, otherwise you need to delete those profiles before the user logs onto the machine. Hope that helps Gerald Sammer John Hoinacki schrieb in Nachricht <3662AB07.8A630FB1@merck.com>... >We have windows nt 4.0 build 1381 service pack 3 installed setnet32 is >version 7.20 and when setting up users the environment varibles seem to >disappear when a different user is logged into the workstation.
